'957' was used for 12 years and his daughters and granddaughters comprise half of the cow herd. They milk well, are excellent mothers and breed back quickly.So far not one of his daughters has been culled due to udder or eye problems. Several of his sons in the Genetic Outreach Program gained over 4.0 lb/day with marbling scores over 5.0. He is a Trait Leader for Calving Ease Direct,Birth Weight, Scrotal Circumference and Intramuscular Fat. 

He excels in the new economic selection indices, ranking as a Trait Leader in all four of the $Profit Indexes and was recently
added to AHA's Sire of Distinction list.

'957' died in late October 2011 at 15 1/2 years of age. He had been battling severe arthritis for several months and finally failed to show up for his feed one morning.  A few straws of semen are still available @ $25/straw, certificates $60 when needed.
